Guillermo Doylet Larrea's eclectic setups make use of digital machines, acoustic instruments, contact microphones and plenty of audio sources available in everyday life; e.g. a sparkling aspirin, beer can with strings, popcorns, dripping water, a cat chewing... and so on.
This first volume's sounds are mainly based on classic retro gaming consoles such as the SEGA Genesis (Megadrive) and the Nintendo GameBoy, with Chiptune and Lo-fi sonorities as a key element.
Workflow
All tracks contained in this pack were performed live in one take only, and recorded straight into the Zoom H6 handy audio recorder; then mixed in ProTools using its native equalizer EQII 7 Band, and Compresor DYN III.
A pdf document with details about each track-setup is also included in the sample pack.
